Our Mission
NRAD has always been committed to providing state-of-the-art medical care, and with the creation of NRAD Wellness, we hope to expand our role in the care and recovery of our cancer patients and survivors by more fully addressing the needs of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. This effort is based on an increasing body of scientific evidence that supports a quality of life benefit with the addition of complementary therapies to standard management with surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. NRAD Wellness is proud to offer group fitness classes and individual exercise training, nutrition counseling, psychological counseling and support groups, educational lectures, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, massage, aromatherapy, and Reiki. We have put together a group of highly qualified practitioners with special oncology training who are compassionate, supportive, and motivating. We hope that the opportunity to participate in the NRAD Wellness program empowers our cancer patients and survivors to take a more active role in their care and starts them on the path toward physical, emotional, and spiritual rehabilitation with improved quality of life.
